Preparation

Recommended tooth reduction is 1.0 mm axially and 1.5 - 2.0 mm incisally/occlusally. End the preparation in an extended shoulder (90o) with a rounded internal gingivoaxial line angle. Place the margin at the gingival crest. Round any sharp points or line angles. Remove undercuts to allow an uninterrupted direct path of insertion (fit should be passive)
