Onlay
Reduce the facial surface 0.5 - 0.7 mm and form a continuous chamfer at the proximal and gingival margins. The preparation should be at the height of the gingival crest. Maintain interproximal contact. If the bite is on the lingual surface, it is not necessary to wrap the incisal edge. If the bite is edge to edge incisally, wrap the incisal edge. Reduce it 1.0 mm and round the mesial and distal incisal angles. The incisal edge wrap should end in a shoulder on the lingual surface or a butt joint. Remove all undercuts to allow passive fit.
